- Range of mobility services to encourage alternative modes of transport
As a new urban center of gravity, it's only natural that this wasteland, formerly a historic tramway depot, should be transformed into a bold, innovative hub. This new kind of living space is set to host a variety of services, from offices and incubators to shops and restaurants and new housing, all set in an exceptional green setting. Ideally located opposite the tramway, the two office buildings will house the headquarters of two major companies. At the foot of the buildings, shops and services will open onto the city, enlivening the pedestrian-only public space.
A bold, innovative pole
This project has been imagined as an amphitheatre around garden squares. Three buildings make up the residential part, which is currently being marketed. Two other buildings will make up the tertiary innovation campus, which will house the headquarters of Banque Populaire du Nord and the start-up incubator of the Association Familiale Mulliez.
A new urban center
Located in Croisé-Laroche, a pleasant neighborhood with green spaces such as Square Lisfranc and Parc Claudel, educational facilities (crèche, school, college), cultural facilities (conservatory, theater), sports facilities (swimming pool, racecourse) and numerous shops, Attraction is particularly well served by two tramway stops and major roads. It forms a seam between the urban intensity of the Grand Boulevard and the garden squares.
A low-carbon ecomobility demonstrator
The program pays particular attention to the environment and ecomobility, an ambition shared with the City and the Metropolis. Mobility services such as electric bicycle fleets, car-sharing and bicycle storage facilities will be integrated.
This place, which will embody environmental, social and economic ambitions, will be a melting pot for new uses and diversity. A low-carbon approach will be implemented, including the development of renewable energies and a low-carbon design for the office buildings. BREEAM Excellent and Biodivercity labels are targeted.
