Merlata Bloom Milano, the heart of the new urban planning project in the northwest area of Milan, offers 70.000 square meters of innovation. With 210 commercial spaces, it is a new “high street” destination in Milan, generating 2.000 direct and indirect occupancies. Its balance with the surrounding urban park is ensured by two public plazas, a Sky Garden, the bike path and an iconic, sustainable architecture aligned with the principles defined by the European taxonomy. A unique fusion of shopping, entertainment, and sustainability.

The reinvention of retail
Traditional retail is transforming into a real meeting place accessible to all, where families, residents, students and workers can enjoy a pleasant moment, outside of a traditional commercial environment. The dining areas have been designed as “social accelerators”: warm and welcoming, they offer a comfortable and stylish setting for a friendly break. Innovative services facilitate the visitor experience, such as the "Bloomtasty" application for ordering and paying in restaurants, as well as a hands-free shopping service, allowing you to fully enjoy the place without constraints.

An eco-responsible project
The project stands out for its commitment to eco-responsibility, using sustainable construction materials, maximizing the supply of natural light and integrating large green spaces. Designed to achieve optimal energy performance, Merlata Bloom Milano will consume 24% less energy than the threshold defined by the “net-zero energy building” standard. The site also benefits from exceptional accessibility thanks to public transport and a direct exit from the motorway. On site, priority is given to soft mobility with cycle paths, bicycle racks, as well as car-sharing electric car and bicycle services. Thanks to these choices, it is estimated that the building will manage to avoid the emission of around 9,400 tonnes of CO2 by 2050.
